Rescol 2.1
Seismic application for calculating soil-structure interaction and
soil properties
System requirements:
Windows 7 and Vista
(32 & 64 bit), XP, 2000 with Microsoft .Net 2.0
framework
Rescol 2.1 requires the
Microsoft .Net framework version 2.0 or later
Rescol calculates footing and foundation spring constants for
ground-structure interaction for spread footings and mat foundations. The
spring rates include all 3 degrees of translation and 3 degrees of rotation
for rectangular and round spread footings and foundations. It also
contains the option to include or
exclude embedment parameters.

Mat foundation
Rescol also can develop
seismic spectrums according to the Zeevaert, US Uniform building code (UBC)
1997, and International building code (IBC)
2000 - 2006 methods (e.g. ASCE 7-05).

Rescol also can determine the fundamental period of stratified
soil when layer definitions (depth and density of each layer) are known from soundings and
geological surveys.
This is a stand-alone application that is compatible with CADRE
Pro. Import footing spring constants directly into CADRE Pro as spring
boundary conditions on selected nodes.
Rescol is provided in both English and Spanish.

The Rescol evaluation application is the full working software version except that
it is limited in the number of uses and has an internal expiration date.
If you attempt to install Rescol without the dot Net framework, then the
installer provides the option of directly linking to Microsoft Windows Update to download
and install the framework.
